Thomas Wesley Weeks, III (born Thomas Wesley Weeks, Jr. in 1967) is an American Pentecostal televangelist.
In 1997, Weeks founded Global Outreach Ministries.[1]
Weeks is the eldest son of Bishop Thomas Wesley Weeks, Sr. and Dr. Leona Brown Weeks.[1] He attended the University of Delaware, majoring in mass communications, and later earned degrees in biblical studies and theology.[1] He has one daughter, Saydie, from a previous marriage. In 2002, Weeks married evangelist Juanita Bynum in a televised ceremony.[2] The couple separated in May 2007 and divorced on June 21, 2008.[3]
Early on August 21, 2007, Weeks physically assaulted Bynum in a hotel parking lot.[2] He initially pleaded not guilty to the charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threats filed by Bynum.[4] He was convicted on March 21 and sentenced to three years of probation, 200 hours of non-church community service, and anger management counseling.[4]
In July 2009 Weeks announced his engagement to Pastor Christina Glenn.[5] The couple married over the weekend of October 20, 2009 in a private ceremony in suburban Atlanta open only to family and friends.[6]
